In the photos I show the formation of a 4-cm core board. This native alder out of the Fehn area in Friesland has so much fire!

Scope / sequence of notes: 15 strings (2 octaves) diatonic or pentatonic from F or G (you can choose other root notes)

String Material: phosphor bronze and steel. I use mainly phosphor bronze strings, usually braided, because the sound is warmer and earthier than that of steel strings (the phosphorus in the bronze makes the otherwise brittle bronze stretchy).

oiled with olive oil, plished with bio wax (Leinos)
